# Brand resources

Vault publishes its logo files, palette, and typography for legitimate use by press, partners, and the community.

The complete, current brand guidelines — including downloadable production assets, construction rules, the color palette, and the legacy DexVault treatment — live at [vault.ky/brand](https://vault.ky/brand). That page is the authoritative source.

## Usage rules

Use of Vault brand assets is prohibited except as expressly permitted by the current brand guidelines or with written permission.

The guidelines permit ordinary reference and community use within stated limits. They do not permit:

* **Distorting the mark.** Do not rotate, skew, recolor outside the defined palette, or add effects.
* **Recreating the mark.** Use the published production files. Do not redraw.
* **Implying endorsement.** Do not create content that implies official Vault endorsement or sponsorship.
* **Impersonating Vault.** Do not imitate official Vault announcements, release notes, or team communications.
* **Using "DexVault" to refer to Vault.** DexVault is the predecessor product and has its own legacy treatment.

## AI-generated content

The brand guidelines include rules for AI-generated content using Vault marks. Review them before publishing such material.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.vault.ky/company/brand-resources.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
